Si sono giocate oggi molte gare di FA Cup. All’appello mancano solo lo United, impegnato alle 18.15 col West Ham, Swansea-Arsenal e Mansfield-Liverpool, in programma domani, e Cheltenham-Everton, che si giocherà lunedì.
Nell’anticipo delle 13.30 arriva una sorpresa. Il Newcastle esce col Brighton, club di Championship. Passano agevolmente Chelsea, City e Tottenham. I londinesi battono il Southampton guidati dal neoacquisto Demba Ba, i Citizens e gli Spurs liquidano rispettivamente Watford e Coventry. Fra le squadre di Premier League passano anche l’Aston Villa, il Reading ed il Norwich. Al replay Sunderland, Stoke, Fulham QPR, West Bromwich e Wigan. Fuori, come già detto, Southampton e Newcastle.
